Retro Video Game Collecting

Browse retro video game libraries, PSA Pop counts, most-valuable lists, grading explainers and collecting guides, built from PriceCharting prices (loose / CIB / sealed), auction sales and PSA Video Games population data.

Print runs are fixed — Nintendo isn't going to make more 1987 NES cartridges. Condition is what separates prices: loose, complete-in-box, factory-sealed, and graded copies of the same game sell for very different amounts. PSA Video Games (which acquired WATA) grades sealed games, and older WATA slabs still trade alongside them.

We cover ten consoles: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, GameCube, PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and Xbox.

What you'll find here:

• Console libraries — every game PSA has graded for each console, with PSA Pop counts and loose / CIB / sealed prices, at /video-game-pop-libraries/
• Top 10 most valuable graded games for each console
• Sealed-game guides on investing, market trends and the most expensive sealed sales
• PSA / VGA / CGC grading explainers for collectors deciding whether to submit
• Storage, display and care guides for sealed boxes, loose carts, manuals and graded slabs

If you're new to retro collecting, start with the console you played as a kid — that's the best filter for "should I buy this." Everything else here is the math layer on top.
